Anita has worked across a diverse range of settings, including private practice, alcohol and other drug services, correctional facilities, and community mental health. Her broad experience allows her to support people facing complex challenges with warmth, honesty, and practical guidance.
Often referred to as the ‘Straight Talking Psychologist’, Anita believes therapy should be accessible, empowering, and focused on helping people make meaningful changes. She works collaboratively with clients to better understand what’s happening, identify realistic goals, and build practical skills that support long-term wellbeing.
Anita has a particular interest in supporting people experiencing anxiety, mood difficulties, addiction, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She is also a passionate advocate for LGBTQIA+ communities and provides an inclusive, affirming space where people feel respected and understood.
